It depends what group they are in, and who they face in the round of 16. Anything is possible. We were an inch away from going in the last world cup.

I hope they do but it's hard to know because we are not the only national team getting good players.I mean look at England, Spain(of course),Brazil, Argentina, Holland, Switzerland, Croatia.These teams have also really good young people.So we need more than just Guardado,Ochoa,Gio,C. Vela,etc.We need good players at any position.One position Mexico doesn't really have is Central Midfielders(CM).Mexico only has RWB(or RB),LWB(or LB),CDM,LWM(or LM),RWM(or RM),CAM,ST,RF players.Where's CM.I mean look at Spain they have good players at any of those positions.So in order to go far in the World Cup we need more than just Good Attacking.



P.S. I agree with people on top of me.Will we even make it.I hate USA but I got to say that they look like they are at there prime right now.The other teams IDK about them but they might not be easy.They might do the same thing Belize did to us in the 1st leg and we barely beated them 2-0.In 2nd leg,They were spread out like rat traps.

It depends on the draw and then who they get in the second round if they make it that far. Mexico has not made the WC Quarterfinals since 1986, when Mexico hosted it. Since then, they either have not qualified for the WC or were knocked out in the 2nd Round. Mexico has good players, I'm afraid some of them don't get a lot of playing time in Europe, which could hurt them. With the WC being held in Africa, expect the unexpected, it would not surprise me if Mexico does well. I will say yes they will qualify for the QF's!

i think we have a really good chance, we always make it it to the quarterfinals and i honestly think we have a chance to go even farther. I think it just depends on how well discip[lined we are and how much our young players grow. You can't count us out we gave Argentina a run for their money last world up and if it handt been for borgettis own goal(it was an own goal if you see the replay it wasn't crespo who scored) we would of won, we played better the first 90 minutes but argentina dominated the extra time. If you havent noticed we always end up pulling through in the world cups and coming together and playing very well so those of you that don't think so can just wait and see.
