My favorite old timer is Ramon Ramirez (now in the MLS) for the leadership he presented in Chivas and El Tri. He did a great job schooling the midfielders from Chivas who followed, including Ramon Morales who replaced him once he left Chivas the first time.

My favorite present Player is Bofo Bautista, not because he is a Chivista but he has that magic touch on his feet just like Cuatemoc Blanco. Power kicks, smart, and play maker. I see a younger Cuatemoc Blanco in Bofo Bautista.

On the Field, as old timers I'd say between Maradona & Carlos Hermosillo. Maradona in my opinion is the greatest soccer player til this day. He was phenominal with the ball. Hermosillo just gave it 100% every single time and gave Cruz Azul titles and represented Mexico as a world class competitor.

Now...my favorite Mexican Player is between Guardado, Nery, or Villaluz. Those guys are all over the field...the whole game. Those 3 players make a difference in a team...their speed & skills are extrordinary.

i would not even put Maradona and Pele in this question because there the obvious choices i would say therefore here are a few in no particular order

Zidane- wow was he great he did magic with the ball and i would say the best player in the last 10 years

Ronaldihno- what can i say he is a great even though he is not in the best form right now we cannot look past at what he has already done as a player

Jay Jay Okocha - the Nigerian wizard was he some special to watch he always did something in every game that u probably never saw before u guys think ronaldihno and cristiano do tricks please watch his videos on youtube and u will see what i am talking about

Rafael Marquez - we all know him what can i say without a doubt the leader for Mexican soccer

Andres Guardado- i believe this kid has the potential to be one of the best players in the world so far in his short career he has been great however i still believe he has so much more to show the world

these are just five but so many good players i would be here typing for ever

Well maby my favorite right now is Cesar Villaluz because he plays for the best team and also he never gets tired, he's young, always running and scoring goals , one of the best players Cruz Azul has ever had...also my old timer also has to come from cruz azul and it's el Conejo Perez because he was onece the best goalie of Mexico also he has scored 2 goals himself, even though he's on the banca right now he has a really good replacement which he has past his talent to...

My favourite current player is Lional Messi unbelievable feet remarkable ball control is amazing to watch and as we saw last night again united he may not have scored but he certainly player better than Ronaldo!!

My favourite old timer is Roy Keane! he was a remarkable on and off the ball!! he may not have the feet of messi or ronaldo or even gerrard but he was a hard player and wasnt afraid to get stuck into the game!! Altough a few instances may have over-shadowed his career but he was still one of the best of all time!

I have few players from the past that I loved Ramon Ramirez was one of the all time greats but after what happened with that crash his game never recovered sadly to I remember when America took him from Chivas man he never wanted to where that shirt he seemed disgusted by it he retired in 07 but a true legend and someone outside of Mexico has to be Ronaldo all time great there will never be another Ronaldo 9 the King of Kings the King of the free style he killed in Barca and he was only there two years

and now I have a few Vela, Nasri , and Messi and Diego and a player by the name of Miralem Pjanic this guy is super super good look him up trust me he is freaken awesome

My favorite player would have to be either Fernando Torres for his world class finishes or C. Ronaldo for his dribbling skills. My favorite of all time is Ronaldo (R9) because he was like Nando and CR put together.

My favorite Mexican player is Guillermo Ochoa and favorite Mexican player of all time is Hugo Sanchez (not counting his cooaching career).

r u serious? My favorite of all time gots to be Jorge Campos, now thats a real player/goalie, all his crazy stunts, his way of playing, adding his flavor to da game( who doesn't remember when he was goalie n he would run all the way to the other end to score) Nike commercials, his ability to create passes, it just don't get better than him

Que onda?? A little Temo in Bofo?? I dont know about that!!

My fav player from the past would be between Carlos Hermosillo and Luis Hernandez. I liked both of them for how they played in their clubs and showed or even gave it their most when they played with EL TRI!!

Right now....Well as bad as its going for him...I would say El Conejo Perez because what he represents for Cruz Azul and what he did when he was with the national team!! The guy was raised there and has only worn that one Jersey....but who knows...with all the rumors going around...that might change!!

Ok...to MATTIE!! I'm pretty sure that no-one said Pele because none of use were old enough to see him.....I've only seen him on clips that they show on tv. We name the players that we grew up watching!! NOW....on another subject....if you really think C. Ronaldo will be anything close to PELE...you my friend need some classes in football!! There is only ONE PELE and ONLY ONE!! How dare you compare the greatest of all time to this arrogant, pretty-boy, overrated guy named C. Ronaldo?? Yahoo should suspend your account for even thinking this!!

My favorite of all time is Hugo Sanchez because of everything that he accomplished throughout his career. In my opinion, (and I might get some thumbs down from whoever doesn't agree) Mexico got known worldwide because of Hugo Sanchez as a player. Before Hugo, do you guys think that Europeans even cared about watching Mexico games? European fans who were Hugo Sanchez fans realized Mexico because of him and they would watch a few games to see him play. I think that in sports he is the all time Mexican Idol in any sport, and maybe even outside of sports. In my opinion, he is one of my Best Football Players of all time cause of what he did in his career, I don't judge just through a WC or 1 or 2 seasons, I judge all their career and most of all, consistency throughout their career, not just a few good seasons. I honestly think that Hugo Sanchez is one of the (at least top 5: Pele, Di Stefano, Hugo Sanchez, Johan Crujiff, Franco Baresi) players in the world.

My present favorite football player is Ronaldinho and Lionel Messi. Even though Ronaldinho is on a bad time right now, I still think he's still the best in the world, after what he's done, I don't think anyone can just come and take that from him easily, whoever it is. Lionel Messi is my other favorite for the kind of player he is and how everybody lays their trust on him.

When It comes to my favorite Mexican player right now, based on performances, Carlos Salcido is my favorite right now, 2 championships in a row and a key player in PSV.

These are my opinions.
